Creative and Thoughtful!
The author helps me to appreciate what parents have ingrained in me which has stayed with me. It taught to help contribute to other people's needs, The point on parents who taught to be the best of providers, to be successful to be able to help others is relatable.
Raising children to be close was a take away as the family grows bigger and the family get's lost in the midst of it. A lesson to support extending families to have all siblings travel and build shelter for those who do not have shelter for others is a good reminder. The book helps appreciate parents and ingrain doing the right things to kids.

Very Interesting
I've watched and heard many stories about immigrants on a foreign country but this one is one of the best ones. The author wrote a very good content about their background, many lessons was learned. I agree on some parts where you must struggle to obtain good things in life especially when you are in a different land, its good to hear how they've become successful after the challenges they have endured. Such an inspiring story, great narration also.

Fortune favours the bold
Inspirational story based on the authors life. Many great lessons to take away from the struggles of being an immigrant and the many challenges one faces. I’m more appreciative of the advantages we have being a national and this has set a fire in my belly to strive for more. Well written and addictive listen!

An inspiring story of success
What an interesting story! The power of family, perseverance, mindset, and determination. A solid recount of family values passed on to create success for life. I am myself the granddaughter of immigrants who fled war and sought out a better future for their children, as well as all generations to follow. This was a strong reminder set in gratitude for all that my grandparents overcame to allow me to live the life of my dreams. It was a great listen that I can only highly recommend.

A heartwarming story. Highly recommend.
I love how the audiobook is story-like. It talks about family culture, sibling love, and parents' love and sacrifice. This audio has made me reflect on how lucky and priviledged we are to have parents. Parents who moved mountains to provide and allow us to enjoy life growing up.

Inspiring
It's so inspiring to hear the success story of another immigrant. I appreciate Kelli for sharing her personal stories with life lessons. Her values of gratitude, hard work, family, and giving back are something I can relate. This book is a good reminder to work toward your purpose and have faith on your journey. Such inspirational story!
As an immigrant myself, I absolutely loved this book. It conveys timeless stories of courage, grit and resilience. If you’re looking for a heart deep book that will also motivate you to do your best in life, this story will provide lots of inspiration. Highly recommend!

Very inspirational and valuable!
I love the story of how the author share her own experiences of becoming successful. Very compassionate! The advice that she shared is valuable. I believe it because most of Asian are working very hard and want to success and helpful for the family and society. Nothing comes easy.. you have to work hard to get it! But nothing is impossible either. If you have a dream you can do it, and put it into action. And the author proves that! Which lead to more hope to people and can’t give up. Thanks for sharing your story.

Amazing Story
I was blown away by what this woman went through. the story was very inspiring and reached me a lot about life and wealth. The author puts together her story very well and doesn't chip away from the details. In this story, we get to see what it's like being an immigrant, but worst in her time. A great read for those into come up stories
