Influenced is Bryce Bauman a famous influencer and Matty Wilcox a B&B owner, BB or Bryce was a famous influencer until his ex-boyfriend cheats and dumps him, poor Bryce!

Bryce lost all his endorsements and he is in a really bad place, so he ask for help and escapes to the tiny town of Serenity, Pennsylvania, here he is surrounded by nature and he doesn’t know what he is doing there, What he doesn’t expect is the hot as hell owner of the B&B.

Matty Wilcox is very dedicated to his B&B and he must keep the business running, he have zero patience for spoiled brats and doesn’t care about social media. He lost his parents and is taking care of his grumpy grandfather, living on a small town were is no way he thinks he can comes out to his family and friends and being accepted so he is so deep in the closet.

Now that Bryce is staying at the B&B and Matty is really attracted to Him, spending time together he is starting to see the real Bryce, his growing attraction is making him very difficult to ignore and he is afraid of acting on his desire and lose everything. Besides he thinks that Bryce didn’t want to stay on a small town.

Bryce just wants to be love and Matty is the most amazing guy he ever meets he is nothing like his ex and he is starting to feel things for him, I love watching them together and enjoy getting to know each other and finally act on his attraction. This two are really sexy together! Their journey is amazing and I love that this is very sweet, I love how Matty and Bryce sound, yum!!! I enjoy Declan Winters performance, he sound so sexy and I love listening this audio! I highly recommended

Loved Matty & Bryce!

Felice Stevens takes us to the small town of Serenity, Pennsylvania where a deeply closeted B&B owner, Matty, has his lived turned upside down when Bryce shows up from NYC to lick his wounds. Previously the half of a famous Internet influencers couple, Bryce is lost, unsure of who he is and of what and who he can trust and doesn’t seem to have a compass in his life to follow.
Both Matty and Bryce thought they were happy, or at least content with the lives they were living before meeting each other, but, despite being very much opposites and having apparently nothing in common, they soon realize the other man is what they needed, without knowing it, to make them complete.
A lovely, sweet story, with not too much angst, but really strong on the emotions. Another great story by the always wonderful Felice Stevens!

Loved this slow-burn, small town romance!

It takes an accomplished author to make you feel bad for a character, make the same character slightly unlikeable, then make you root for the same person! That was Bryce, After being dumped and betrayed and left with very few living options, he finds himself in a small town for a month. Matty owns the B&B that Bryce is staying at. Bryce starts off as rude, bratty and Matty is quite put off by his overall attitude. Slowly though, they both see past each others façade. Bryce is hiding his bruised heart, Matty is hiding himself. Once they begin to really get to know each other, they develop a friendship, though it was amusing to see how they were secretly attracted to each other, (loved their inner musings). Once they realise their mutual attraction, the slow, sensual romance starts. It is a joy to listen to! A really enjoyable story.

Declan Winters made the story unforgettable. I loved his cadence, characterisation, inflection and the emotions infused into the characters and the tone of the story. Excellent way to enjoy this low angst, beautifully romantic story!

Sweet small town romance - great narration

I was looking forward to this book by Felice Stevens, because she has an absolutely convincing writing style that always delights me. I was curious about Declan Winter as narrator, because I didn't know him before.
The author takes us to the small town of Serenity. There Matty, the owner of a B&B and Bryce meet for the first time. Matty has recently ended his long-term relationship with his girlfriend, so he is focused on his work and his somewhat grumpy grandfather. Bryce was a famous influencer couple along with his boyfriend, but Byrce ends up at the bottom when he is simply replaced. No job, no friends, so he treats himself to some downtime in a small town.
I loved watching these two get to know each other and realize that the other is definitely appealing. And I had to smile a few times at Bryce's take on country life. Delightful. But the story doesn't just offer sexy main protagonists, it also captivates with great secondary characters. I just loved the relationship that develops between Bryce and Matty's grandfather.
I love this book. Matty and Bryce are totally cute together and I loved the development of their relationship and the strong feelings.

Declan Winter has a very pleasant and very sexy voice. I love how he reflects the emotions and the voices he gave to the characters. He did a great job and was a pleasure to listen to. I look forward to more audiobooks with him as narrator.
This audiobook is highly recommended, a beautiful story with a happy ending and a great voice.

Great take on a contemporary world

Story: The premise of this book is a great approach to a modern society and differences between worlds. Bryce's collision with harsh reality was painful to watch and I must say I didn't like him much for quite a chunk of the story. Felice Stevens is great at creating very interesting and engaging characters though, so I had little doubt for his redemption. Matty's journey was equally painful to watch, but in the best way. His coming to terms with his own identity was very well written and their attraction was palpable on the pages.
Influenced was all in all a really entertaining and thought provoking story for me. And very well written, but that's a given with Felice Stevens books.
Narration: A really good performance that I thoroughly enjoyed! The voices really fit the characters!

amazing performance perfect for the story

matty and Bryce were such amazing characters and declan winters brought them to life just as I pictured them to be like

I was so into the story and narration and didn't want it to end reading the story was beautiful i fell completely in love with bryce and matty and listening to Influenced made me fall in love with matty and bryce all over again

Great narrator

I am going to buy every novel DW performed. As for the story: I liked it. Except for Bryce suddenly having a character transplant. Even when being nice, I can not call this 'character development'.
After the couple gets together, FS writes once as many chapters about nothing in particular. Just boring every day stuf that makes me happy when it is over and I can crack open a new book.
