I think that if I've just read the books, I wouldn't have loved them the same way as I'm listening to the narration by Lola and Gavin. I've seen the show and pairing the books with their voices makes such a good overall experience,
Storywise it isn't something groundbreaking, but more of a comfort story with all the teenage thoughts and experiences, but it's so good listening to it during summertime!
