The title might give away the big reveal, but the narration for these excellent stories us just first rate. The accents, the diversity, the timing and the clarity are just diamond standard.

The stories from the various writers is also extraordinary. I very much enjoyed them all.

All the fun of the original stories, with one or two retrospective considerations of other events, occurring on the sidelines during some of the most famous plot lines.
The usual mix of satire, dark humour, action and schlocky violence, all stamped with the 2000 AD quirkiness and originality that made such fans out of boys like me all those decades ago.
If you enjoyed the comics and got as far as reading this review, you really ought to just buy the thing, “for Grud’s sake.” You won’t be disappointed . . . And that’s the law!

I really enjoyed the short story format. It was a refreshing change. I’ve read all the ‘Judge Dredd’ novellas by Rebellion and this was one of my favourites.

exactly as I remember the stories when stuck in a rain-soaked caravan turning the pages of 2000AD

I really enjoyed many of the stories but there were a few duds in there.

A mixed bag of good and not so stories

This character has been in my life since a young boy, and this was a nice distraction from COVID to revisit his world. Not sure about Dredd's voice (sounds Boston?), but he certainly has Stoney faces winning personality down.
