Thoroughly enjoyed
Great story and descriptive of Iceland during that time period, lovely tie in with artist reference. Sad to finish it!

Excellent book
I loved this book. Great description of live in Iceland and at the same time a lovely account on this woman's live and desire as a painter. I couldn't put it down, one of my favourite books this year.

Completely absorbing and an insight I haven’t had before into Iceland in the early part of last century. Wonderful narrator.

Brilliant
Story, performance, everything about this book is brilliant. I could not stop listening. I wish there were other books written by this author to listen to at Audible.
