The teacher voice is quite harsh and louder than the Swedish speaker. Decent content but found this jarring enough to keep me from relaxing/sleeping.

..but not a good chooice for beginners. And the title suggest it is.. it is not - the swedish speaker tends to pronounce words in a weird way and although it IS the way swedes pronounce them, it is quite confusing for a beginner. Best example are the multipliers of ten where formal rule is that you should pronounce the "o" in it while speaker constantly makes it silent. Like I said, it is how people speak, but it is not a good thing for a beginner. Also, more than once while learning the word they say one word in the definition and then use another for example. For instance, they tell you that student on swedish is "student" and then give you an example "eleverna är i klassrummet" which does mean "the sudents are in the clasroom" but come on - imagine the face expression of a baginner in swedish when he hears this! That being said, the book is a valuable source of spoken swedish and is probably a really good choice for making repetitions and learning different versions of spoken words. Therefore, you will probably like it if you Know some elementary things already, just don't use it if you're starting with swedish… and yeah - you definitelly can't learn anything from it while sleeping :)
