About this listen
This Audiobook will take you through the basics of Spanish with Basic Bootcamp, All About, and Pronunciation lessons.
The five Basic Bootcamp lessons each center on a practical, real-life conversation. At the beginning of the lesson, we'll introduce the background of the conversation. Then, you'll hear the conversation two times: one time at natural native speed, and one time with English translation. After the conversation, you'll learn carefully selected vocabulary and key grammar concepts. Next, you'll hear the conversation one time at natural native speed. Finally, practice what you have learned with the review track. In the review track, a native speaker will say a word or phrase from the dialogue, wait three seconds, and then give you the English translation. Say the word aloud during the pause. Halfway through the review track, the order will be reversed. The English translation will be provided first, followed by a three-second pause, and then the word or phrase from the dialogue. Repeat the words and phrases you hear in the review track aloud to practice pronunciation and reinforce what you have learned.
In the fifteen All About lessons, you’ll learn all about Spanish and Spain. Our native teachers and language experts will explain everything you need to know to get started in Spanish, including how to understand the writing system, grammar, pronunciation, cultural background, tradition, society, and more -- all in a fun and educational format!
The five Pronunciation lessons take you step-by-step through the most basic skill in any language: how to pronounce words and sentences like a native speaker. You’ll go from basic concepts to advanced tips and will soon sound like you’ve been speaking Spanish your entire life.

Brilliant for a real beginner
I learnt more with this than I have for months with books etc. It explains things such as pronunciation extremely well for beginners and it holds your interest in between with entertaining conversation about experiences and different Spanish speaking cultures. I really feel I have learnt a lot and things, for the first time, have stuck in my head.

Humorous and informative way to learn Spanish
I'm really enjoying this method of learning Spanish - there's a lot of humour between the two hosts which makes it a really light-hearted way to learn. It's also good to hear the conversations between people speaking, then to hear the conversation broken down to be able to learn the words

Not much is useful
Just a few basics would have been good. Hello goodbye please thank you. They're in there but there's some much more complicated ways to say thanks then a beginner needs to know.
