About this listen
The year is 1986.
The increasing popularity of video-game consoles and home-video recorders render requests for traditional toys at an all-time low.
With his workshop rapidly losing popularity and demand among the children of the world, Santa Claus decides to take his business in a new direction.
International drug trafficking.
After all, why lose money making Christmas crackers, when he can earn money making Christmas crackheads?
With his new business plan and slave-like working conditions causing great pain and misery among his elf employees, one of the elves escapes to the big city to enlist the help of Dallas Stone, a maverick cop who only knows one way to fight crime.
Action has a new face - and a terrible mullet.

Well written and hilarious!
I powered through this in one afternoon, not usually what I'd go for but glad I did! It kept me engaged throughout and I found myself repeatedly laughing out! Great fun, must try!

Dangerously good.
Two miss matched cops, a good elf and a bad murderous drug dealing santa what's not to like. The narrator is excellent. Hilarious.

Yippee Ki-Yay!
A wonderful homage to 80's action movies. Steve McElhenny usual brand of humour permeates the the fast moving narrative. The main characters are an amalgam of your childhood action heroes, all that's missing is the dodgy synth music. Expect zippy one liners and over the top action sequences. It's packed with guns, explosions, car chases, questionable scenes involving Christmas elves... and more excitement than you can shake a snow globe at.
Now onto Read Shepherd's narration. The audio is a little tinny in places which may annoy the listener if they're sensitive. His character voices can be a bit too similar at times but it's always obvious who's speaking. Thankfully his reading speed is perfect (such a rare trait in a narrator) in my opinion but some folk may want to drop it down a touch.
Overall, if you're a McElhenny fan you won't be disappointed in Lethal Dangerousness

Lethal Dangerousness
This is another brilliantly funny story from the Welsh wizard that is Steve Mcelhenny. Great set of characters from Santa's workshops to the city streets. It is well written and fast paced keeping the listener on the edge of their seat. I loved the interaction between the maverick cop and his new partner and the elf. A totally new take on Santa will have you doubting everything you once believed in. Read Shepherd's narration was faultless and made a good book brilliant. Highly Recommended.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author and leave this honest review.
