About this listen

A former Special Forces soldier and government agent is pursued by ruthless and brutal operatives.

Jack Kane is a man on the run. A secret agency wants him dead...and his family is in the firing line.

A violent encounter forces Kane to emerge from a life in hiding, where he had hoped his wife and children would be safe. He must go on the run and fight for the lives of those he holds most dear. The forces out to kill him are skilled, well-armed, and his former colleagues in the Mjolnir Agency, a black-ops shadow section of MI6.

Kane is pursued by savage gangland members and vicious assassins. Can he survive and save his family in this fast-paced adventure packed with action, twists, and unforgettable characters?

If you like Mark Dawson, Steven Leather, Robert Ludlum's Jason Bourne, and Lee Child's Jack Reacher, you will love this heart-stopping thriller.

This book is good enough. Nothing special. I might get other parts if they come up on sale.

The story is full of action as well as interesting twists. The audio is amazing, but I admit I am a huge fan of David Thorpe’s since hearing his audio’s for Mark Dawson’s John Milton series. Plan to get the rest of the series on audiobook as I enjoyed the character and want to see what happens to him next.

om really reviewing the first 5 books. om on no.5 and enjoyed each and every book. the narration is excellent and well matched to the stories. the books themselves are well written with nicely formed characters who grow on you and keep them hard to put down.. I hope there's more of these to come.

Great start and get better

Another story about a former secret Government assassin who gets a conscience and 'wants out'. Our hero, against overwhelming odds, defeats/kills every foe, rescues his kids, finds another disillusioned soul to help him defeat the baddies. Each chapter is littered with a growing body count of slaughtered foes. The characters and situations are shallow and clichéd. Narration fine.

Predictable 'shoot 'em up'
