This was an excellent book, with lots of mystery, excitement, sexy shifters and of course hot sexy romance. This does end in a cliffhanger and its a doozy, but you wont want to miss this book it was very well written and definitely worth the listen. the narrator did a great job of portraying each character, her voice was one you want to listen to and hear more of. all in all this book is a must listen / read, I can't wait to find out what happens next!

This was by far and away a very enjoyable story. The characters were interesting there was a little humour and most enjoyably plenty of heat and chemistry. It also had a really strong story line that I found very entertaining

I love the concept of strong women in positions of strength. Calista is definitely such a woman. She is a funny, slightly clutsy, dedicated cop. She meets a fireman on the job and experiences that flash of shifter connection. Of course she denies it but Dawson persists.

I think what I really enjoyed was the fact that the romance took second place to the action in the story. One of Calista's sisters, another policewoman, goes missing The case and the issues around it take precedence over the romance, which is actually fairly uncomplicated. And while the romance is tied neatly in a bow, the plot only thickens and the story ends on a cliffhanger. I cannot wait to find out what happens next!

Lipstick & Lead is a fantastic listen with loads of suspense, mystery, thrill, and drama. It's well-plotted and well-paced with intriguing characters; I was wholly entertained. Holly Holt did an excellent job with the narration and the character's voices, bringing the story to life. I definitely enjoyed this audiobook and will recommend it. I really enjoyed this book, Callista is a sassy kickass woman although ends up on her butt a fair few times in rather interesting situations. I really enjoyed her relationships with her family was interesting dynamic with sisters rather than a family of brothers being the shifters as it often is. There’s plenty of mystery in this book too and ends on a cliffhanger. If anything I wished it was a bit longer!

Love a kick butt heroine! In this series, the entire group of sisters kicks butt and take names. I loved that the hero was a different type of shifter and how powerful he was. Yum. Some great steamy scenes and lots of action. I am looking forward to reading more in this series. I received this audiobook by my request in exchange for an honest review from Audiobook Boom.
