Not credible
This story begins as implausible and becomes ridiculous. I'm sure that it was written by a grown-up, but that's not the impression that comes across. I'm glad it was in the plus catalogue because I wouldn't have been happy to pay for it.

The story was good as were the characters. Although a bit far fetched and unbelievable, yet interesting.

Kept me engaged throughout
I really enjoyed the story it has little twists. The characters were interesting however the narrator’s voice for Claudia and Heather was grating.
I don’t know how she thinks women from Sheffield sound like, but it’s most certainly not like how she interpreted it.
I was really surprised by Claudia’s response to Heather’s confession that’s all I’ll say on that as don’t want to spoil it.

I’m going to actually miss these characters!
Anita Waller is now the name I search for when I’m looking for my next read. Every book is original with different characters every time. I particularly fell in love with the characters in this one, I’m going to miss them!

The crazy grimness of this story made me laugh
By the end the story made me laugh from it’s crazy twist and turns but so much of it relatable to serious life issues too. I nearly decided not to listen at the beginning but narrator stopped jarring on me quite so much as I got hooked on the storyline.

The ending was a bit of a disappointment!
Overall it was good to listen to and the characters were very personable. For me the end lacked the depth that the rest of the story had which was a shame. This is just my opinion. It’s worth a listen as a free book.
