I remember reading this book for the first time during the first lockdown and being totally hooked form the get go. From there it builds up to a plot twist that had me feeling just as sick as the characters were feeling when it was revealed in the story. Now listening to it years later on an audiobook has been a really nostalgic and enjoyable experience and Jack Hawkins really brings the characters to life in a great new take that really fits this world the characters inhabit. Overall great listen and if you have not read/listened to this book already get on to it, as it definitely deserves your time.

We were recommended this book and so got it for our drive to Spain. It was brilliant and kept the kids, and us, intrigued till the end. Occasional, moderate, bad language.
