Summary

Contains three complete, novel-length books in the Middle Falls Time Travel series.

The Empathetic Life of Rebecca Wright, book 10

From the outside, Rebecca Wright had an enviable life, and she enjoyed that envy. She had a beautiful house, handsome husband, and a no-limit credit card. What she didn't have was empathy.

But it's never too late in Middle Falls. A lesson that isn't learned in one lifetime can be learned in the next, or the next. Rebecca may need every chance she can get.

The Successful Life of Jack Rybicki, book 11

Jack Rybicki is a high school senior who loves his girl, likes to party, and doesn't have much of a plan for his life. Then fate plucks him from obscurity and Jack, now renamed Jack Noble by his management team, becomes one of the most famous people on the planet. A teenager who likes to indulge himself with limitless resources is not the best recipe for a successful life. But it's never too late in Middle Falls.

The Many Short Lives of Charles Waters, book 12

Charles Waters has 30 days to live. Those days pass in a blur and he dies a quiet, unnoticed death. He opens his eyes back in the doctor's office as he is told, "I'm sorry to say, but you have 30 days to live." Thus begins The Many Short Lives of Charles Waters, who has to live the same 30 days over and over while he finds out what it is to be alive.

I have read them all and they’re all fantastic

Thank you so much for all of these stories. I’m a huge fan of time travel and the stories have been fantastic. I’ve loved every single one. The most recent one was a tough listen recycling every 30 days and he was not really understanding what was happening especially when he did over 1000 repetitions of the same day. I found that crazy, but I’m really pleased that in the end he made lifelong friends, and got the ending he deserved

Beautiful!

I'm a lover of science fiction, especially time travel, but these books aren't just about the ins and outs of time travel. they are wonderful stories from a rich imagination. Shawn has made me laugh and cry and I am grateful. Thank you for sharing your worlds with us.
narrators are brilliant too!

Another great escape into Middle Falls

You'd think by book 12 I'd be bored of these books by now.....but nope! After each omnibus I think I'll take a break and listen to, or read, something different before the next Middle Falls book....and then I find myself going straight to the next Middle Falls book. That's a testament to how well written and uniquely different each book is from each other.
Again I enjoyed these stories. I did not expect to enjoy Rebecca Wright's as much as I did. I actually, for once didn't so much enjoy Jack Rybicki's story - for me it was the one weak story out of all the rest. And Charles - well Charles was an exercise in endurance! How Mr Inmon managed to patiently relive all Charles' lives to the degree in which he did was masterful. That one really felt like Groundhog Day to me. And knowing that it was the last in series before taking a break, he could so have easily rushed it - but he absolutely did not. Really impressive.
I will try to take a break now and move on to something different, but I can't promise....

Leaving the best until last

I enjoyed the last book in this trilogy the most. There was humour there as well as compassion and a good story. Thank you.

Never gets old

I love this series and am so glad Shawn keeps returning to it. Each book is a standalone story but set in a small town in America which comes to life with his writing. The characters he creates are rich and detailed and worm themselves into your heart. Here’s to many more adventures in middle falls to come. But I also love his Alex Hawke time travel series too 😀
