Summary
Ten insane days. One miraculous opportunity to re-write the past.
"If you lived through the 1980s and love time-travel novels, you'll struggle to find a more addictive read than Pearson's latest gem." (Joanna James)
In May 1987, Jackie Benton received a heartbreaking phone call from her boyfriend, Sean Hardy, bringing an end to their five-year relationship. He’d fallen for a fellow student at Exeter University.
Sean and Jackie would never see each other again.
Thirty-three years later, Sean returns to his home town. There, he inadvertently discovers what became of Jackie Benton.
That discovery instigates a series of events, culminating in a miraculous journey back in time - only days before a catastrophic event in 1988 destroyed Jackie’s life. Unbelievably, Sean has been gifted a chance to befriend his first love and steer her away from certain tragedy.
However, Sean faces one major obstacle - Jackie is an angsty youth, and he’s old enough to be her father. Then, there’s the challenge of keeping his true identity a secret while navigating life in '80s Britain.
With time against him, can Sean connect with his one-time love and make amends for the pain his younger self caused, or will the same tragic history repeat itself?

Nobody does Time Travel like Keith! Wow!!
After the 86 Fix books I was left to wander around audible trying to quench my thirst for a bloody good read. Nowhere could I get my fix...until now. He's only gone and done it again! another fantastic story from the wizard of nostalgia. I just love the way the author throws you back to another time in a world where you once fondly existed. Again (as in the 86 fix and Tuned Out) You are able to get to to know the characters to the point you feel as if you have known them on a personal level (in another life). I didn't think it was possible to match the epic read which was 86 Fix. However the author has. I read a book a week of all genres and I am absolutely blown away by this author's constant offering of outstanding reads. He really has the ability to pull you into a book where you feel part of the main characters journey. Thanks Mr Pearson for the magic you weave. I would also like to add the narration was outstanding. The narrators ability to throw his voice to each character was the best ive heard since joining Audible. Keep them coming Keith! 👏 👏 👏

He does it again
Keith Pearson has yet to write a book that I've failed to finish. His character development is brilliant and the story's are spot on. He hits that nostalgic cord with me especially on this book as I've also collected all the now albums until 86 that is, the cars the shops, sweets etc he really has done his homework. Keep it up for an indy author he is putting lots of others to shame.

Interesting and heartwarming
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It took me back to the 80s when I was a young teenager, interesting storyline, amusing and comforting to listen to. It gave me the same sort of feeling as the The Detectorists tv series did. Loved the narrator, the accent worked well with the character.

Easy enjoyable listening
I love time travel books so it’s not hard to please me in that regard! It was a nice story that kept me interested, although a little slow at times. Wasn’t keen on how Jackie was narrated, made her sound like an immature young lass. Not keen on the ending but that’s personal preference! I’d have made a different decision if I was her.
