About this listen
'Few men are born brave; many become so through care and force of discipline.' Vegetius, De Re Militari, written in the 4th century AD.
__________
The warzone is the most unforgiving environment on the planet. A single mistake or split-second moment of indecision can mean the difference between success and failure, life and death.

In Military Mindset, Ant shares 52 lessons he learned during his military career that have helped him overcome challenges not only during combat, but also throughout his life. With the help of some historical battles, this book provides a framework for you to build an elite mindset and succeed your life and career.
Throughout the book, you will learn:
- How to set achievable goals
- Why you need to push through the pain barrier
- Strategies to eliminate self doubt
- The importance of keeping things simple
- Embracing a positive mindset
- Focussing on the things you can control
- And much more
Written in a clear and direct way, this book provides simple and digestable wisdom to help you level up your life and discover your true potential.

Another great book , love Ant! Sound quality is a little poor!
Very motivational, another great additional to Ant’s books. Ant is my hero. I love his relentless commitment to self mastery. The only negative I would say is the sound quality is a little poor, you get used to it but sounds like Ant is in a tin can. Sound needs adjusting. Anyway overall another winner!

So relatable and interesting
Love the fact that you can pick a chapter to review and take mental notes to reinforce any day to day plans. Completely flips your mindset into a more dominant positive perspective.

Not Ant’s finest work
This is a poor showing from Ant and I normally enjoy his work. In my opinion, he peaked with Fear Bubble. Now it just sounds like he threw this together to make a bit of money before Christmas. Narrates it like he knows this as well

Nothing new
Lost me. I tried to keep coming back and holding in there but it really is the same old same old with the addition of quotes from historical leaders and writers. Sadly, this is yet another rehash of the same old thing with elements of FIGJAM. Disappointing

Doesn’t feel like there is much new
Stopped listening half way through as it feels broadly the same sentiment and ideas from previous books.

The same old same old
An interesting bloke and no doubt an amazing soldier, but while there were a few comments here and there that really hit home, they were few and far between. The book could be boiled down to a 5-minute pep talk.
