About this listen
As another year unfolded, lifestyle blogger and mom of three Miranda Anderson realized she felt weighed down by the mass of belongings her family had been accumulating.
In an effort to pare down and cultivate a deeper sense of gratitude and abundance in their lives, she and her husband decided to embark on a minimalism challenge, where they would stop all unnecessary shopping for one year. It meant learning to use what they already had and being more creative.
"Less stuff, more adventure" became their mantra as they focused on gaining enriching family moments and seeking personal development. Life became about only choosing what truly matters and simply disregarding the rest.
With candid narrative of her experiences, insightful discussion of principles, and practical questions to answer, Miranda's journey will empower listeners to make small, impactful changes to live more intentionally and will show that whatever they have today can be more than enough.

Really inspiring, down to earth
This book might look like a resume of many books in the same category but this one has a really down to earth tone. This books was for me a really good complement to other books I read with the difference that this really inspired me and gave me the tools to start living a minimalist and intentional life.

Not Overly Original
I thought this book was a well organised book and well put together, it was also very easy to listen to. The only thing is I felt many of the points although practical weren't overly original and were things that I have either thought of and tried myself over the years or maybe heard in other books. If you are new to the concept of budgeting or not spending then this book might be more help but if you have dabbled in no spending before, minimalism, budgeting or anything similar then you might not find this book the best fit.
