Enjoyable collection of short stories, which are darker than wimsey. Fortune is an engaging likeable character with depth. GS gives solid competent performers which improves with each book as he gets more settled. He handles the wry, witty interchanges between Fortune and Lomas very well.

Admirable lesser known alternative to Wimsey
