Summary
The only thing about me that’s a size zero is the filter on my mouth. I’ve got a big personality, a big rack, and a big number on the scale. And I’m perfectly fine with that.
But when some random guy suggests I might not be eating alone if I’d ordered a salad instead of a hamburger I’m shocked silent, which is a feat, trust me.
That brings us to one sexy fireman named Frankie Hartigan. He’s hot. He’s funny.... And he’s just apologized for being late for our “date” then glared at the fat-shaming jerk. Next thing I know, he’s sitting down and ordering himself dinner.
I have no problem telling him I don’t need a pity date...unless of course it’s to my high school reunion next week. Oops where did that last bit come from? And what do I do now that he’s said yes?!
Because this is no make-over story, and I think Frankie is using me for something. I just have to figure out what....

Sweet and romantic
What a liked:
- The hero was sweet and misunderstood (and very sexy).
- Both protagonists were fighting their own demons and getting in their own way. I liked their journey to overcoming these through the development of their relationship.
- Sweet and romantic. A pleasant story and easy to enjoy.
What I didn't like:
- Towards the end I was getting a bit tired of all the sex scenes.
- The heroine was frustrating at times (but I had to remind myself that those were inner demons sabotaging her and it was all part of the story).

Really enjoyed the book
The book was an enjoyable read. I laughed throughout the book, especially at Frankie's thoughts and comments. All of the characters in the book were a fun mix and the narrators brought them to life in a very good way.

Wow racy
Honestly it should be mentioned that it’s quite racy at some moments… (sweating here)
Beautiful love story that keeps a woman yearning for this in her own life,

Mehhh
It's an alright story. I'm just sick of
these plus size women that hate themselves and say triggering things chapter after chapter. Like you can be fat and many more things. This book was about her body and nothing else. If you wanna read a book with a plus size character that doesn't hate herself please read The Princess Trap by Talia Hibbert or any of her other books.

Another 5* Romcom
Avery has done it again with this hilarious romcom. Well written storyline with great characters. The excellent narration brought Lucy and Frankie to life. Can't wait to listen to the following story.

Loved it
Great book! Not as good as the first book of the series (about Gina and Ford) but still a lovely listen. My only complaint is that the final 2 chapters felt so rushed, tying up the loose ends too quickly for my liking so the ending felt predictable and anti climatic. Still would recommend though!
