About this listen

Penguin presents the audiobook edition of My Morning Routine written by Benjamin Spall and Michael Xander, read by Arthur Morey, Dominic Hoffman, Sumalee Montano, Will Damron, Kaleo Griffith, Karissa Vacker, Hillary Huber, and Fred Sanders.

In My Morning Routine, talented creatives and successful business people share their secrets to unlocking greater energy, focus and calm - starting first thing in the morning. For example, Arianna Huffington describes how she silences the 'bad roommate' of self-doubt every morning; Google's M.G. Siegler reveals why he religiously drinks bottled Starbucks Frappucinos; and a former Navy SEAL lieutenant explains why his morning workout routine changes each season.

From sleep patterns and dietary preferences to electronics use, workout rituals and more leisurely and self-indulgent habits, Benjamin Spall and Michael Xander present readers with a wide range of possible practices to choose from, inspiring you to wake up alert, physically and mentally healthy and psyched up to have a great day.

Critic reviews

After a productive morning in which I accomplish my big things, the rest of the day can be played by ear. It's all extra from there (RYAN HOLIDAY)
A big part of my morning routine is about what I don't do: when I wake up, I don't start the day by looking at my phone (ARIANNA HUFFINGTON)
The quiet time between 6:00 and 7:30 A.M. is when some of my best work gets done. It's my time to read, think, and prepare for the day ahead (BILL McNABB)

Not helpful at all

Rather than a guide for morning routines it’s just a load of awful people with terrible accents telling you what they do. I do like real life examples but they don’t pull it back to the point so it’s just aimless ramblings

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
