Summary
Maddie.
I’m a sucker for nerds. So a biology professor who wears geeky ties and doesn’t realize how hot he is, puts every part of my body on high alert. It also means I’m failing his class. There’s only one way to get him out of my head so I can focus. Seduce him.
Turns out that boyish innocence isn’t an act, and while Dr. Reid Emerson is a genius, there are many things he’s never learned. His eagerness to catch up takes my breath away. Will he let me be the one to teach him?
Reid.
Maddie Evans reminds me of every popular guy I’ve ever known: Charming, persuasive, and used to getting exactly what he wants. But there’s a part of me — a part tired of being the only inexperienced person on campus — that doesn’t care. A flash of skin during our study sessions sparks a fire I can’t put out. I want Maddie. And I want him to teach me...everything.
We strike a deal that has me questioning my sanity, my ethics, and everything I ever believed in. I can’t resist him but being together is risky. Maddie could lose his spot in grad school, and I could lose the thing that keeps me going every day. Teaching.
Is this experiment doomed to fail or together can we pass the ultimate test of love and sacrifice?
My (Not So) Slutty Professor is a mm romance that involves cocky students, shy professors, meddling best friends, and lots and lots of ice cream. It is the first book in the My (Not So) Serious University series. It can be listened to on its own or as part of the series and has a HEA.

Funny and witty!
A surprising read with great character development and depth. I loved seeing Reid come out of his shell and embrace his feelings for Maddie. I enjoyed the depth to Maddie and his bravado is a mask for insecurities under the surface. a great couple and good fast paced story!
The author teases about the side characters just enough you need to know more about them and their stories. I'm looking forward to finding out about Reid's brother and Ben in book 2 and hopefully Atticus can find his HEA soon after...

sweet
Both the author and the narrator were new to me, but the blurb sounded interesting.
I liked the storyline, which revolves around the relationship of a young professor and his student. Reid, the professor shies away from social media and also people in general. He meets Maddie, a fun-loving and popular student, who wants to get tutoring from Reid. While the age difference between the two is rather small, opposites attract and I found their interactions entertaining and kind of cute.
It took me a while to get into the story at first, but then I was captivated. What I also liked was Maddie and Reid's best friends.
The only thing I couldn't really understand was the motive of Reid's co-worker that made him act.
Kevin Earlywine did a great job of narrating, I liked his pleasant voice and he had a nice pace. I could easily distinguish the characters he gave different voices to and it was fun to listen to him. I will definitely be on the lookout for more audiobooks by this narrator.
I requested a free copy of the audiobook and this is my honest opinion that I am volunteering

Fantastic
So i loved the ebook and when I found out that it was on audible I knew I needed it so much, this was even better than the book however. Hearing their personalities and emotions made this a more personal account and I loved it. The narrator certainly gave it their all and lifted it from a fantastic novel into something more.

Social awkward and social butterfly
The narrator is excellent and brings the whole story to a higher level. The narrator is enthousiast and tells with a Greta dynamic to his voice. Both characters are distinctive and for me this narrator is one to keep an out for. I listened to the book on 1,10 speed.
D.K. Sutton was a new to me author. This book has for me pro and cons. The pro's: not a mention able age difference, the character development for both Maddie and especially Reid the hea. The cons: the justification by Reid to start a relationship with Maddie while he is still his student and Maddie going along, good friends for both. The meddling by the colleague felt a bit far fetched and sought for.
This is book one in the Not so University series, book 2 is already published and book 3 will be published later this year.
I was given a code for this audiobook but the opinions about this book are my own.
book 4- audio 5 overall 4

New to me, author and narrator
Thank you to GRR for allowing me to find all these new authors and narrators.
Maddie Evans and Professor Reid Emerson are two nerds who need to be straight A's throughout life, but things are not as straightforward as they think they are.
A teacher, student relationship reverses, and the student becomes the teacher.
Great writing with two characters with complex personalities, but well written.
Good narration from Kevin Earlywine. As usual, I did increase the speed n audible to 1.30.

Deal Of A Lifetime.
MM, Contemporary, Romantic Comedy. A great story throughout with great characters and so many LOL moments. Part of a series but can be enjoyed as a stand-alone with no loss of enjoyment or understanding. I really enjoyed seeing how they and their relationship evolved. Kevin Earlywine did a fantastic job narrating. Guaranteed HEA.

A bit robotic, but brilliant
The story was excellent. It was well paced and the characters were fully fleshed out. The narration was good and it was of a high quality, but it was slightly robotic which detracted from the story a bit. But, overall, I loved the audiobook and thought it did justice to what is a fantastic series. I will definitely be getting the rest of the audiobooks in this series.

Sweet RomCom
Adorable and sweet, My [Not So] Slutty Professor is a lighthearted romcom between a socially awkward professor and his gregarious student. I really enjoyed the interactions between the characters, especially as Maddie teaches Reid how to be more social. The angst in the book creates enough conflict to keep the plot interesting.
The audiobook was narrated by Kevin Earlywine who did a nice job. I really enjoyed the story and the audio performance.

Loved it! Great start to the series.
I loved Reid instantly. I liked his geeky ties and I thought that his backstory was very interesting. Reid is a genius and the same age or even younger than most of his students. He's socially awkward and inexperienced.
Maddie, his love interest, isone of his students and when we were introduced to him I thought that he was a bit arrogant but as the story progressed I got to know him better and I ended up really liking him and caring for him.
I liked Reid and Maddie's chemistry, I thought that they were very good together and I loved reading their journey.
The audiobook was brilliant. The narrator did an absolutely fantastic job bringing the characters to life.
I'm looking forward to reading the next books
