About this listen

“I got off the phone and I tried to calm down, but my mind was racing. Derek was the father of the baby I was carrying inside me. He was my first love, my only true love. We hadn’t spoken in more than two months, but crazily I had still hoped we had a future together - me, him, and our baby, as one happy family. It’s every teenage girl’s dream, isn’t it? You meet a boy, you fall in love, and then one day you have a family and grow old together, happily ever after.”

Fans of MTV’s critically acclaimed hit series, Teen Mom, have followed Farrah Abraham’s tumultuous life as a single teen mother. Her fiery, relentless spirit, and her unwavering commitment to getting the best out of life for herself and her daughter, Sophia, in spite of all the drama constantly surrounding her have made her a beloved star and media sensation. Now, in this unflinching, at times heartbreaking, memoir, Farrah reveals the difficult truth about the life that hasn’t been seen on television.

The author is someone I've watched for years and wouldn't suggest this book unless you're a teen mom OG fan.. Farrah is so interesting character wise but if you watch the show you know she's not the nicest of people. This book does give a good insight to why she acts how she does and it actually made me feel very sad for her but also impressed in her ability to stay so strong through what you'll read a very difficult time for a teen to go through..

I'd say it was a 3-4 star due to at times becoming a little bored but it's her as a character in teen mom that gives the advantage to this book of keeping me intrigued

Sad, gripping but a little repetitive

really enjoyed listening 2 farrah's story i sat and listened to it till it was finished without a break. i have followed farrah's story since 16 and pregnant. it was really good 2 hear about her relationship with derek (the father of her child) as we didn't get much of it on 16 and pregnant/teen mom. i really hope she writes another book it is good to hear her side of the story in person instead of edited bits of tv.

really enjoyed it
