Unfortunately the claims in this book is not corresponding to the latest scientific knowledge, but I guess it's a problem with many books related to food science.

scientific discrepancies

This book is packed with information which I found myself questioning... Practically everything we eat, our environment, our homes, the air we breathe... All toxic in the opinion of the author.
Much of it I applaud... The antibiotics in our meat, the pesticides on our vegetables and fruit etc etc. All the negative consequences of intensive farming, not least the poor welfare of our farmed animals.. All good information.
But I'm afraid the food plan suggested is the most unappealing food plan I've ever seen! And so although I will take on board some elements of this publication I have come away questioning some of the information, and the studies chosen to support them.
Glad I read it but I will not be following the plan. I will, as I have already started doing, take on board some of the information and suggested changes, and continue down my own path to good health and ethically sourced food.

I’m nutrition and weightloss coach and always read about nutrition and weightloss. This is one of the very best, if not the best books written about holistic weight loss. Very comprehensive And looking at weight loss in a holistic health centred way, even talking about mindset, which I liked a lot. Overall great read I will be recommending to my clients.

No where did it indicate that this was all about excluding meat from your diet. I would not have wasted time listening to the 1st 4 chapters. be honest about the content!

Vegetarian and Vegan not titled

Complicating and making extreme diet that restricts your eating habits in a massive way, while claiming this way of eating is not a diet. Basically making you feel bad for eating food (restricting type of food, the order you eat it in and so on and so on), and claiming things like “healed this/removed that”, giving the impression that the diet is a magical thing that fixes your life. While in reality it can cause malnutrition and and eating disorders.
