About this listen
Welcome to Aspen Cove, the tiny Colorado town where fresh starts, hope, and true love live….
Nurse Sage Nichols’ life is falling apart. Her favorite patient has just died. She’s lost her job. And she’s been evicted. When she finds out she inherited a bed and breakfast in a remote town in the Rockies, she’s determined to sell it and return to Denver.
But when word gets out that a nurse is in town, Sage gets roped into helping Aspen Cove’s only doctor. Unfortunately, the warm welcome she receives from the town’s people does not extend to the man next door. Instead, he seems set on making her life miserable.
When Cannon Bishop’s mother died, he gave up his dreams of leaving Aspen Cove and stayed to run the family business. As owner of the only bar and son to the town drunk, he’s got no room in his life for a woman. But when Sage Nichols breezes into to his life, she changes everything. And if there’s one thing Cannon hates, it’s change.
She’s a woman who wants to leave. He’s a man who has to stay. There are a hundred reasons keeping them apart. Can they find one to keep them together?

Mostly enjoyable.
The story was a little bit mushy for my tastes, particularly the hero. I cannot imagine some of the dialogue attributed to him, coming out of any man's mouth. I did like the narrator though, he did really well with some cringeworthy ( for me) dialogue. A nice story, well read... so, on the whole I liked it.

A nice feel good story
This was an easy read. A nice slow burn, feel good romance with realistic issues. I love characters, plot and the whole setting of the story. The narration was spot on.

Great all-round love story
Loved this story and the amazing characters. The narrator did a fabulous job of bringing the storyline to life. Can't wait to listen to the next in the series.

A lovely story
I loved listening to Logan McAllister, he was perfect for this book
Big hearted nurse Sage gets the opportunity to move to a new town and start up a B&B. She meets not so sweet Cannon , who has his own issues. She has a lot of love to give and he wants none.
Even beyond the grave Bea managed to play an important part in everyone's lives, A great story.
Loved the humour and characters .
Perfect

Enjoyable listen
This is book 1 in the Aspen Cove series. Without giving too much of the story away Sage gets the opportunity to move to a new town and meets grumpy Cannon and this is their story. I always enjoy reading books by Kelly Collins and I have to say listening is also superb.
Selecting a male narrator for a predominantly girly story was a good choice.
A must listen for Kelly fans.
