a bit disappointed as this had the potential to be a great book. Ending was very flat

Started off well but unfortunately went downhill after that. Near the end of the book I actually thought I’d snoozed off and missed chapters out. After rewinding I realised that this wasn’t the case and the ending had just been rushed - disappointed

I’ve read other books by Lucinda Berry and they’ve all be brilliant but this novella is a little dramatic and unbelievable. I’ll still continue to read her other works though!

Maybe novellas just aren’t for me but this was something and nothing. The pace seemed off and there wasn’t enough story to hook me

My first audio book didn't disappoint, the narrator told the story with passion. Like all Lucinda Berry's previous novels, this one was also fantastic. I loved the twists and turns, especially the ending that left you wondering what Alexis may actually be truly capable of.
