Summary
Being rescued by a hot lumberjack after catching his fiancé cheating was the only good thing to happen to Beau for quite some time.
Getting stuck in the man’s cabin for the weekend? There were definitely worse ways to pass a few days.
Falling for him when the guy made it clear he didn’t do relationships? Well, Beau just wouldn’t do that...probably.
Out in the Cold is a 25,000-word novella with a 39-year-old furniture maker who is done with disappointing relationships, a 25-year-old accountant with terrible taste in fiancés, a remote cabin in the woods during a snowstorm, and a rescue dog with more sense than his owner.

Love it
I love this story, I got the paperback so it’s only natural follow with the audiobook. It’s a sweet story about comfort and not settling for anybody but someone worthy.
Chubby and low self-esteem young man meets a nice, guarded lumberjack who can appreciate a body and will help him believe how sexy and desirable he is.
For once, bed scenes are not excessive because they makes sense for the self-esteem part.
The narrator is good, he didn’t make one of the voices feminine, which I really liked, though it was difficult to differentiate both characters, something curious, so maybe it was just me.
«I’m not sure hot to respond here. Should I try and talk you out of calling things off or console you over it being over?».
