Since my career took off, I barely have time to breathe, let alone keep my life in order. I’m naturally chaotic, make terrible decisions, and scare off potential dates with my “weirdness”.

So when Payne gets back into town and needs somewhere to stay, I offer him my spare room with one condition: While he’s staying with me, I need him to help me become date-able.

And while he does that, I can focus on my other plan: ignoring that Payne is the only man I’ve ever wanted to date.

If you’re into second chance romance then this is the listen for you. I love an older character with a past and Payne is exactly this - James writes amazing pairings and Beau is such a beautiful choice for Payne. It’s so great to listen to how Payne’s mindset changes across the course of the story and not only about Beau but his own self worth too. Definitely recommend a listen!

Just loved this story - first I’ve listened to from Saxon James. Nice pace, never going to have you on your seat in shock, but a real feel good again story.

The narrator can make or break a book on audible. Nick j Russo certainly makes it very special.

I really enjoyed this brother's best friend/unrequited crush book. Payne and Beau have been through a lot in their lives and getting to know each other as new roommates is sweet...and hot! It's not all plain sailing... there's some jealousy and/or insecurity along the way, but these guys definitely deserve their HEA. It's a really enjoyable story, very ably brought to life by Nick J Russo's performance. 4* from me.

This story took me by surprise. While there’s no nail biting excitement it is a story that captures you and holds you until the very end. It’s funny and sweet and a lil spicy. It’s well worth a credit to be left with a smile on your face.

the characters in this book are so heart warming and lovely. I love them and how the Pain threw away his yucky ex so proud of him for moving on it brought me joy.

So I've listened to first 20 Mins, I think. Keep hoping it will get better. I'm at stage where I'm giving up. Slow awful story. Voice isn't doing anything and probable can't improve this. Lackluster and dying. I've lost interest and all hope. I've no wish to listen to any more. Maybe if story was rewritten. Any concept of interest lost. Maybe it's the one sided pointof view or lack of story telling ability. This has been more irritating and painful to listen to.
