About this listen
Foster:
"Look out for Zach, and don't hit on him." My brother's request sounds easy enough. Keep an eye out for his best friend on campus and keep my hands to myself. Easy. Even if Zach is a quintessential nerd, who I've always thought was cute, I don't have the time to think with my...stick. There's only one stick I should be focused on this year, and that's my hockey stick. My goal once I graduate is to get an NHL contract. The last thing I need is a distraction. On or off the ice. Only, keeping to the rules is harder than I thought it would be.
Zach:
People confuse me. And no one more than Foster Grant. I've barely spoken two words to him in the whole time I've known him, but the second I step foot on campus, he's impossible to shake. I can never anticipate his next move. And whenever we're together, my next move is a total mystery as well. I want to give in to him, but that might mean coming clean about something I've never been bothered about before. I'm still carrying my V-card. And I think it's time to turn it in.
Contains mature themes.

A comfort read
I love the CU Hokey series and Saxon and Eden’s style of writing. The books are sweet and funny and I’ve read/listened to them multiple times.

Steamy yet sincere
This was a lovely, layered story about two guys who couldn’t be more different to one another. They seem an unlikely pairing at first, yet as the story progresses, you come to realise that their differences are what make the relationship and the chemistry between them work. I also love that Zach’s character is neurodivergent-coded, without any specific labels used.

Great Banter
Love this couple but the story dragged on a tiny bit for me.
But the banter between them was great.

Jock/nerd cuteness

Sadenverse
Cute. MM hockey books seem to be the only New Adult book I don’t want to give up in the first chapter.
I picked this up because I was looking for more Sadenverse, they are all light and fun reads and I needed a brain off read to enjoy.
This book didn't disappoint.
I love a nerd/jock read and as is a theme in the Sadenverse sports books the jock in this book took the lead as he was the one ultra comfortable with his seggsuality.

Cutie Patooties!
Sweet baby Zach is too precious. Foster is the popular jock who acts anything but. He is so perfect to and for Zach. There is nothing I don't like about this book. Even Jacobs trying to c**kblock was tolerable because you could tell he had feelings for Foster but he wasn't nasty or vindictive in his bit of jealousy.

Good
Really enjoyed this lighthearted romance . Foster is asked by his twin to watch out for his best friend Zac but Foster has always liked Zac and his quirky ways so when things start to evolve can he make Zac realise he’s serious .

Love and Ice Hockey!
A fun rip-roaring fast-paced story of opposite attraction. How I laughed at their dialogue and enjoyed their love. Two thumbs up!
