About this listen
An emotional, sexy, forbidden romance performed by Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton! Scoring with Him is the first novel in the utterly addictive Men of Summer series!
I’m a rookie, in every sense of the word. But even though I have a wicked crush on the sexy shortstop on my baseball team, I won’t give in to my fantasies about him. I’m here in the majors for the first time to play ball. Not to experience my first time with a man.
Trouble is, Declan Steele is sexy, flirty, and now he’s my new workout partner. We’re spending mornings together in the gym, getting to know each other. Our connection is powerful—maybe because we each have our fair share of secrets and scars. Ones we'll both fight to protect. I've got far too much trouble in my past to want to bring any into my present, no matter how much I long to sneak into his room at night and ask him a question.
But soon I can’t keep all this desire under wraps. I take chances for a living, so I take the biggest chance one night at spring training when I send him the world’s sexiest selfie. Right along with a question: "Would you be my first?" But falling for my teammate wasn't part of the plan.
Scoring with Him is book one in the Men of Summer series.
This romance between two professional athletes spans five epic years and continues in Winning with Him, also performed by Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan.

I actually bought this one for the narrators of course, how not too with Teddy Hamilton AND Jacob Morgan?!
It felt almost like a fanfiction of HIM (Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy) as I know those narrators so well from this series.
Finished with a nice cliffhanger so i'll gladly buy the book 2!
Nice one!

However being a fan of Teddy's and Jacob's work since "Him, Us and Epic" I was more than happy to buy it and wait for all series to be available. I think I actually even found out about the series from one of their Facebook groups. it did not disappoint. Perfect story that take you deep on to what each of them feels, how it influences them and how they deal with it. It does finishes on WTF moment I had to stop what I was doing and rewind to be like why do you do it to us.
So much so I would say after Tal Bauers books it was most WTF moment for this year.
And I'm pretty sure same as with "Him" this series will be on my To Re-Listen next year list. 🥰
A steamy start to a love story

This is a book about baseball which I won’t lie as I live in UK don’t really know much about baseball but really enjoyed the story really enjoyed the little bit of education about baseball found it quite interesting.
Declan and Grant are the two main characters in the story it’s really nice to listen to a relationship between guys that isn’t sleazy are on realistic Lauren Blakely has a fantastic way of getting romance across to the reader regardless of sex race heritage culture she is fantastic at this getting the love across.
The story developed really well over the time of the book that’s narrated by two absolute fantastic narrators they do a grand job expressing both separate characters and also the other ones in the groups because obviously it been surrounded by a baseball team there is a lot more of the characters that they do the voices for and do very well.
My only complain about this book is after listen to quite a lot of hours it actually ends in a cliffhanger and I absolutely hate cliffhangers but because I love this writer had these narrators so much I will be buying the rest of the series plus I can’t live without finding out what happens but I’m gonna lie I’m not a fan of the cliffhanger I has just warned.
Has cliffhanger
