Powerful Book

This book has given me a lot of hope. I have been asking myself for the past year how I let myself get into such a horrible relationship. I have been feeling guilty and felt like I should have known better. This book actually makes sense of the toxic relationship i was in and I see how I ignored some major red flags and why I did. I am actually so glad I was strong enough to get out. This book is full of hope for me to heal. It sometimes feels like I will never feel good about myself again. I love the positivity, the journal prompts, the questions to ask yourself. The 10 steps to building yourself back up are things i can implement into my life to rebuild a new better future starting today. Very glad I listened to this book. Hoping to get better one day at a time.

Life-saving information

I thought the information in this book could truly save someone's life. The author covers the different ways a relationship can become toxic, and different types of abuse one might face. I thought that was really helpful because most of us wouldn't even know if we were being abused. The author discusses why we find ourselves in these situations, how to get out of them, how to create boundaries with people, and how to love ourselves and set new standards for our relationships. The exercises and recommendations are particularly helpful, and they're easy to follow along with as you listen to the audio. I highly recommend this one.

Such a valuable resource!

I loved that this audiobook was unique, practical, and memorable.
