This author has me hooked all the way. The sense drama and urgency make this book very difficult to put down.

The narrator really brings this book to life and I have become a firm fan.

A fantastic book, so well written and narrated by the wonderful Annie Aldington. I couldn't put it down, it kept me gripped to the very clever twist at the end. I became totally absorbed in the believable characters and I can't wait to listen to the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book. If you like Martina Cole at her very best, you'll love this.

I love this series and Annie is an amazing narrator who pulls you right into the story and gives each character their own distinctive voice.
One small criticism, Annie, you need to speak to some Irish people .... That accent! 😂

Where does Payback rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is the 2nd book in a trilogy, I listened to them all in order-Superb narration by Annie Aldington and a fast paced story set in the 80's in the East of London about a likeable gangster family. Gritty reading, excellent story. I am now hooked on Kimberly Chambers and have begun her second trilogy.
