Brilliant!
Another wonderful romp. I think my favourite is An Argumentation of Historians (book 9) but this runs a very close second. Such imagination! A joy to listen to. The narration is perfect - all the characters are brought to life so clearly with their traits and nuances. Just love Markham!

Twists and turns...
As ever, Jodi Taylor brilliantly describes real historical events, woven in with more personal insights into the histories and back stories of the characters. Zara Rama’s narration is lively and keeps the story fast-paced and evocative. I can’t wait to find out what happens next...

She does it again
Brilliant performance and madcap humour throughout.
The only down side for me (without giving plot away) was the cliffhangers didn't work after listening to the time police novel.
That said I loved it especially the twist at the end, didn't see that one coming up!

Loved it!
Laughed like a drain, Markham's a legend. A baddie, not saying who, gets what's coming to him as well which was very satisfying.

Great book and perfect narrator
The Chronicles of St Mary's delivers again. So many wonderful characters and great story lines. Jodi can make you laugh, cry and always leaves you wanting more
