Join her fantastic Facebook group and buy the book to reference back to quickly. You won't be disappointed. This book and supporting Facebook community will see that you launch your podcast the right way for maximum impact.

Good but could do with less sales and more show notes

Good book with lots of information to support someone in developing and launching their own podcast. However, for me there was just too much selling throughout the content and the end of chapter feedback for the authors paid membership - felt I was being sold to at least 75% of the time. Subjects are dipped into but if you want more you have to go into the membership. Whilst I appreciate not everything can be included in a book as it would end up far too long, some of the mentioned worksheets would have been a nice touch as would an accompanying pdf of the key points, activities to undertake, recommendations etc.

Useful advice

I’ve been running my podcast for 18 months now but I wanted to learn more in preparation for launching my second. I learnt new things which I will implement in both.

"Be seen. Be heard. Be remembered."

Covers all the podcasting bases. Well written, well narrated and well worth your time. I deducted 1 star for the Spotlight section of each chapter which, while well done, and which many will no doubt value and enjoy, I personally found unnecessary. I would much rather that space had been given to even more podcasting tips, tricks, do's and don'ts. Nevertheless... a big thumbs from me.

A must listen to for newcomers to podcast.

I have been thinking about starting a podcast for some time but as a complete technophobe it seemed way beyond my reach. Anna has enabled me to see that podcasting is entirely achievable and that there are simple ways around the things that I might find challenging, with a bit of planning. The insight this book gives you is beyond valuable and will enable me to swerve lots of the pitfalls as a novice that I hadn't even considered or... even been aware existed! The background work I have to do i was also blind to but I know now that there are steps to follow that make the route ahead seem much less daunting. A must listen to if you are considering getting started and want your podcast to be a professional representation of your business.

Informative

One stop shop for a quick review of what is needed to plan, lunch and grow your podcast. It is a good place to start even if u have no single idea of podcasts. Now I can go on to research more on specific aspects of podcasting.
