Summary

A Very Useful Read

This book was easy to understand and the format was very helpful. It answered many of my questions about ADHD and confirmed some of my suspicions. This is a must read for anyone who has or suspects they have ADHD. Friends and family of people who have ADHD would also find this book very useful. Highly recommended - a very useful read!

Super helpful about ADHD

I love this book. I have just been diagnosed with ADHD. Listening to this book was like listening to someone describe my life and experiences. Feels so great to be able to finally understand myself better. As someone new to all this, I found this book super helpful about everything related to ADHD. Hearing her describe rejection sensitive dysphoria and just to know that this exist and bunch of other people experience this as well is an indescribable feeling. Thank you so much for the author for writing this book! Even before the middle I was honestly feeling that if my loved ones could speak english, I would just ask them to read or listen to this, if they would care to understand me better. Amazing book, I can only recommend.

useful, clear and personal

Really good overview and some really useful insights. The section "R is Rejection" is particularly good and has really helped me to understand myself better. I do think the author has some misconceptions about what Meditation is (describing it incorrectly as "switching your brain off") but otherwise this is an excellent book

adhd must read

This book is not a book, it's a guide to a hidden world broken into sections for each area that you struggle with when you think might have ADHD.

I've finished this book cover to cover but I'll be referencing it over and over as challenges come up in my life.

This frank, honest, and open description by the author of their life with ADHD gives me hope not only for my future but others as well.

Highly recommend if you have, think you have, or know someone with ADHD to get an idea of a worldview from someone with a different lens.

A must have for anyone with ADHD or if you want to help a fried or relative

The first thing that hits you is the friendly presentation of those 4 letters that can do often be seen as so dark and negative.

Leanne structures this book so well, it is easy to follow and feels deeply personal but also very relatable.

The audiobook helped me gain the big picture of how ADHD effects my life but to enact these things I will need to revisit, therefore I will also be ordering a copy.
