Summary
Do you want to decrease your restlessness to gain more focus? Do you want to gain motivation by eating foods that help you control your emotions? Do you want to be confident inside and out, even with ADHD?
The gender gap reaches beyond the workplace: it also impacts medical diagnoses! While 13 percent of boys are diagnosed with ADHD, only 4.2 percent of girls are, and it’s not because girls don’t have it: It’s because we are misdiagnosed! To make matters worse, the older we get, the harder it is for medical professionals to diagnose and treat us properly. Often the only time a medical professional will notice it is if we have children who are diagnosed. By then, you’re used to living in the chaos of your home and brain!
In The Blueprint for Women with ADHD, you will discover:
- A surprisingly simple way to manage your emotions even if your prefrontal cortex is working against you.
- A detailed explanation of ADHD that will help you understand this disorder.
- The tempting habits that will help you get your physical space and brain decluttered.
- The key to commanding your time to live your best life.
- Your options on getting tested and treated by a medical professional.
- A heartwarming plan to ensure you don’t fall off your path.
- The guilt-free ingredients you need to cook with to manage your ADHD symptoms.

Manage your ADHD and more
I purchased this for my granddaughter and daughter who both have ADHD. My granddaughter is taking medication but my daughter has struggled with the stigma attached for herself and her daughter. I didn't realize so many women were undiagnosed and this book was an eye-opener. It gives the symptoms for women and explains how many women have dealt with feeling out of control in their own minds. It explains how while the symptoms may be similar, each person has different symptoms and also need more specific treatment. This book offers practical easy to implement tips for time management, household management and has made a difference for my granddaughter already. By understanding what ADHD is I've been able to understand how to deal with my daughter and help my granddaughter as well.

Great advice to make ADHD a super power for women
I truly enjoyed the book. It was informative and helped me to better understand how to recognize the symptoms of ADHD in women. The fact that 50-75% of girls are diagnosed with ADHD later than boys was startling to learn. The author takes a relatively light hearted approach to dealing with a very heavy topic. I especially found Chapter 3 about the importance of emotional regulation enlightening. This is a great guide to help clear up misunderstanding and misperceptions about ADHD in adults, specifically in women and is a must read for women struggling with ADHD.

An Enlightening Experience
This audiobook was engaging, and the content was both informative and empowering. Really enjoyed the section on managing emotions and the role of the prefrontal cortex. It was like a light bulb went off in my head! The tips on decluttering your physical space and brain were practical and easy to implement. I've already started using some of the recommended habits, and I can feel a difference in my daily life. The part about getting tested and treated by a medical professional was helpful. I've been considering it, and the book laid out the options clearly, making it less intimidating.
