Going back to simple board games, vocabulary games, card games and using our imagination can help to train the brain. It seems that technology has just made us mindless consumers of information and we are not really exercising our brain to keep it healthy. Our children can definitely use less time on tech.
Having a positive and growth mindset and having gratitude for the things in life will also have a positive impact on brain health and learning.
All these tips and more are great alternatives to try rather than just relying on the medications that are prescribed to treat learning issues such as ADHD.
