It will probably make you feel worse initially, as there are 91 symptoms to adult adhd and it explaines absolutely everything I've suffered with since my earliest childhood memories.
Im hoping that now I know why life has paned out the way it has, that I can now make the most of the last 3rd of my life, as ADHD has had an emense impact on my personal life and career.
P.S
The very best of wishes my Nerodiverse friend.

The entirety of “Step 1” deals with getting evaluated if you haven’t. “Step 2” is essential as it dives into what ADHD is. Chapter 9 on the executive functions is lengthy but thoroughly explains where ADHD problems come from. “Step 3” is all about medications and goes into detail about them. “Step 4” is all about little ADHD lifehacks that can help, and “Step 5” is like “Step 4” but zooms into different contexts such as education and relationships.
Just hunt and peck as you see fit. I have ADHD and I went through the book front to back, but it wasn’t easy. ADHD 2.0 by Edward Hallowell is a bit more ADHD friendly but also isn’t as accurate and thorough as this book is.
Also there’s an error somewhere in chapter 27 (I think) where there’s some audio that wasn’t cut out, saying something like “Alright, so this should go after the following.”
Great book even though it’s tough to get through

The book was helpful to the point of explaining the problem -- and there seriously is a problem -- but when it came to the section on working on solutions I found myself getting bored and losing focus -- and kinda giving up as I know my brain won't do any of these suggestions.
However, I wonder whether my response is typical, because I also have dyspraxia and Asperger's, which could potentially make my diagnosis a little more complex than standard ADHD.
Mostly good, but...
