About this listen

Attachment theory has entered the mainstream, but most discussions focus on how we can cultivate secure monogamous relationships. What if, like many people, you’re striving for secure, happy attachments with more than one partner?

Polyamorous psychotherapist Jessica Fern breaks new ground by extending attachment theory into the realm of consensual nonmonogamy. Using her nested model of attachment and trauma, she expands our understanding of how emotional experiences can influence our relationships. Then, she sets out six specific strategies to help you move toward secure attachments in your multiple relationships.

Polysecure is both a trailblazing theoretical treatise and a practical guide. It provides nonmonogamous people with a new set of tools to navigate the complexities of multiple loving relationships and offers radical new concepts that are sure to influence the conversation about attachment theory.

Well structured and explained

Brought my understanding of attachment theory to next level with the clarity of explanations. Nicely ties in many different topics like codependency etc

Amazing book, insightful and helpful

Well written and narrated. Gives a great insight to attachment theories and how will will affect your relationships.
But they gives you food for thought of how to navigate and have more secure relationships with others and yourself.
I would recommend this book to all poly people and even mono people. I ordered a hard copy for future reference.

Invaluable for poly and mono people alike!

I learned SO much from this book. Not just about attachment and poly relationships, but about relationships in general and most importantly: my relationship to myself. I will be pushing this book on to all my friends, mono and poly alike, because I really felt that the first third of the book (about attachment styles) is a lesson we all need to learn.
Cannot rate this highly enough.
