About this listen

Power Italian Verbs is cutting-edge, fast and easy to learn 5 one hour lesson program that teaches authentic Italian verbs in native context. A variety of teaching approaches are employed to encourage the learner to speak. A trained English speaking American instructor guides the listener through the program in English while a trained and educated native Italian speaker teaches beginning to high-intermediate Italian verbs the way they are really spoken in Italy today. Emphasis is given to original sentence creation, effective communication for the most common language situations, and integration of high-frequency vocabulary along with the verbs being taught.

Excellent but you need background

This is fantastic if you have been doing lessons and need help learning to vocalise and hear what you have learned in class. It is just what I needed after having spent a year doing classes. I could read and write Italian but was still struggling to speak or hear it fluently. I wouldn't recommend this though is you are new to Italian. You won't have a clue what is going on

Lacks structure

A bit all over the place. Asks you to try to remember content that hasn't been covered yet.

Awful

Basic touristy stuff taught randomly, excessively repetitively and with the help of an Italian woman whose voice drifted between annoying and hectoring. 'Ripeta!' I have listened to many such audio books and this is the worst.
