Finding Balance Together

My wife has always struggled with weight loss. We tried everything – diets, exercise programs, you name it. But nothing seemed to stick. Then, we came across this book. We were a little skeptical at first, but we were both willing to try anything at that point. The book is full of guided meditations and affirmations that target the root causes of emotional eating and food addiction. It helped my wife challenge negative thoughts she had about herself and start seeing her body in a more positive light. It wasn't a magic bullet, but slowly things started to change. My partner began making healthier choices, not because she felt forced, but because she truly wanted to feel better. She stopped craving unhealthy foods and started enjoying the taste of fresh fruits and vegetables. Most importantly, she seemed happier and more confident. Highly Recommended! Your body is beautiful

There is so much pressure on women to be thin and perfect. However, what I took away from listening to this set of guided meditations was that our bodies are all unique and beautiful in their own way. It was good to take some quiet time to listen to each meditation and follow each carefully. The audiobook was also available as a PDF, which was useful for practicing positive affirmations during the day.

Learning to gain control

The biggest struggle that I think most women have with weight loss is combating negative thoughts and staying focused. This book allows you to work on yourself for just a few minutes a day and helps you to reframe your negative thoughts into positive ones. I enjoyed listening to this book in different settings. I listened to the affirmations while working, but the guided meditations were at night while I was winding down. I found the author very compassionate and wants to help women gain control over their weight struggles.
