Great book!

1st off let me say I really liked the book but I started to get annoyed by the writing style towards the end. it keeps jumping around from time lines and at some points its like someone goes here is a cake enjoy, oh wait before you have any let me tell you how I got each ingredient and then how I made the cake. Still a great book tho just my opinion

Masterpiece

Farrrrr superior to his previous books (which are amazing). This book is filled with twists and turns.

Who would have thought, LM Kerr (author) has the ability to cause me to change my favourite character.

Onwards, book 5!!!

I will be relisteing to books 1 - 4 again and again and again.

Also, great work Adam for your stellar narration!

the vile king is boring

The story is great but an enemy who should be defeated is stretched very thin as he is a manipulative conductor which makes him tedious. A supposed genius who thinks numbers don't matter and that he knows better than all others. Real intelligence is knowing that you don't know enough and accepting that you know very little. He is repeatedly called a genius, when all he is is arrogant.

5/5 for 1/4 of the book. 1/5 for the rest.

Books 1,2,3. 5/5 Solid, Love them, Favourite series ever, until now. Wait for this one for literal months and 16 of the 22 hours are just blah blah.. concepts, ideas, explanation, descriptions. bro took like 7 hours to leave his bloody bedroom. Come on.

Don't get me wrong the real content of the book, when stuff actually happens, is cool, Really. But this is a 6 hour book with 16 hours of filler. sometimes worse then filler, just nothingness, , and I don't see why because, the actual content heavy parts seemed rushed and forced because of the severe erratic pace throughout.

Kerr has the talent and the ability to do the series real justice. Still looking forward to 5. Hopefully they'll bring it back.

Great continuation

I was slightly worried that book 4 wouldn't deliver on the build up of the other 3 books but it definitely delivered and more. I love the humour that the story has while also being a great culmination of all the different abilities and story lines within the world. Definitely 5 stars and can't wait for book 5.
