Reverb - noun: an echo like force or effect.
My life is a cliché.
Rags to riches. A bad boy rock star. Everyone loves me.
On the outside, it looks like I have it all but nothing is further from the truth.
I died at 18. Lost the only thing I ever wanted.
Her.
At rock bottom, music becomes my life support and sometimes, it isn’t enough.
Then, out of nowhere, she shows up. A crash cart to my near-still heart.
Reunited, we struggle with the realization that the past is littered with lies and betrayal.
And worst of all, what tore us apart is determined to keep it that way.
Even as my heart beats strong and steady with the hope of our future, is it too late for us?
I’m filthier than ever and she’s no longer mine, but I’ll fight for her anyway.
We belong together, and I’ll prove them wrong.
Novels in the Trojan series are interconnected stand-alones, each with an HEA. Listening to them in order is not crucial, but is highly recommended.
Listening order:
Clutch (Trojan, Book 1)
Reverb (Trojan, Book 2)

Rush (Trojan, Book 4)

Even More Emotional In Audio
I previously read this beautiful and well written story on Kindle and jumped at the chance to listen to the audio version. I thought Jared and Eva's story was heart moving before, but hearing the characters emotions spoken out loud made my heart ache even more and I become so engrossed in the story that I forgot everything around me. It felt like I was right there witnessing what was happening and I found myself just sat there listening to the story instead of working like I should've been. Reverb is the perfect book for audio and is something that I wish I could experience all over again. Listening to Reverb has made me fall in love with audio books even more and I've already jumped into listening to and losing myself in Smash, which is book 3 of the series

My Heart
I loved the dual narration of Jacob Morgan and Carmen Vine, perfect.
This book pulled me and held on to me...
Eva and Jared’s story has it all betrayal, overcoming unbelieve obstacles, and so much love. I found myself shouting at her family and crying for them as well.

Fantastic!
Jared and Eva were teenage sweethearts torn apart by lies, betrayal, and deceit. Against all odds they get their second chance at love in this heartbreakingly raw and emotional read. I loved the characters, their relationship, and the fantastic narrators who brought them to life. There’re some shocking twists and turns in this brilliant storyline that had me well and truly hooked. I highly recommend it!

OMG the deceit
I genuinely had to pause this book to pace the room a few times throughout!! To draw this sort of reaction is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for me!!
I won’t delve too much into the where’s and whys as don’t want to spoil the unfolding of this story for anyone but during your listening experience you will find yourself angry!
The performance of this book truly is breath taking! You feel it in your very being! You really need to listen to this book. I would say that you don’t need to have listened to Clutch first but I suggest you do to really experience this series progression!

Amazing listen!
SM West has caught my attention and captivated me with this fantastic love story! Eva and Jared were neighbors. Meeting as teenagers, these too are each other's first love. But an accident changes their lives, separates them and life will never be the same for either of them. I love this story! A little Romeo and Juliet with her father not approving of Jared, an incredible love that will stand the test and a deception to make others seem like child's play. It will play on your heart, and make you wonder at times, but hope that love will prevail. West has outdone herself with this second book in the Trojan series, and if you haven't listened to Clutch, make sure to pick that one up too!
Jacob Morgan has given Jared the perfect characterization. He is broody, and hostile, with a love so big it's impossible not to fall for him. Carmen Vine is new to me, and I love her voice! Cast as Eva, she gives her strength and vibrancy to make her into her own. I enjoyed this team, thought their voices complimented each other well and would love to hear more from them together.

Outstanding Story & Listen🎧 Gripping & Heartfelt!
I loved everything about this book, from S.M. West’s wonderful writing style to the characters and storylines she created to the perfectly casted narrators who brought it all to life. This story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire book, actually once I started the audio I did not want to stop, I needed to know what was going to happen next. The characters are realistic, easy to connect with and relate to. I adored both lead characters, Jared and Eva, they met while in their teens when Jared moved next door to his new foster home. Eva was drawn to him and with her persistence they became good friends, a friendship that grew stronger each day and when her Mom passes away their bond grew even stronger despite her father wishes who made no secret of not liking Jared. Then a tragic accident changes everything for them. Holy moly, the betrayals and the extent of it is mind boggling and just evil. I am being vague to keep it spoiler free, I highly recommend this book, the story is heartbreakingly beautiful at times and simply beautiful at other times, I found it so easy to get lost in Eva and Jared story. There is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, angst, twists & turns, heartfelt and emotional moments and a romance like no other. S.M. West thank you for the wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Jacob Morgan and Carmen Vine did an awesome job portraying the characters, they give each their own distinct voice and personality. Carmen Vine played Eva’s role with perfection, you could hear her goodness and all her emotions reflected in her performance. Jacob Morgan played the perfect Jared, angsty at times but let his heart shine through other times. Both were great performing the voices of the secondary characters as well. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the awesome listen🎧
