About this listen

Robin and Marion are back! Second in the action-packed series from international bestseller Robert Muchamore.

Robin Hood lives...

When Clare Gisborne and Little John return to school after the Locksley Riot, there's rebellion in the air and Robin Hood's name graffitied on every wall. Power dynamics are shifting - now, instead of being a feared bully, the daughter of Locksley's most hated criminal finds herself shunned by classmates and pelted with yoghurt and rotting fruit.

Meanwhile at Sherwood Designer Outlets, Robin has plans of his own. He is determined to hack Sheriff Marjorie's office so that the rebels know her every move - and to work with animal rights activists to end a cruel trophy hunt inside the grounds of Sherwood Castle...

This book improved on a great many points where the first one fell a bit short. The characters are becoming more colorful and the story is now driven by the characters and not the other way around.

A great continuing of character building

be aware that despite being located in England, written by and English author and delivered by an English reader you will occasionally be thrown by a strange American English word being thrown in. It's a TRAINER NOT A SNEEKER!

American words out of place

The story starts slowly but kicks up a gear and finishes at full throttle. I really like the series and am looking forward to book three.

Slow start but a great story

The story is good, but it isn’t as amazing as some of the reviews suggest. The performance is good, but he tries to make every voice unique, so all of the characters have accents that weren’t in the book. And when little John meets the girl Amber, I find it annoying that they just suddenly want to kiss each other after a short conversation, and Amber wasn’t a very interesting character either. I feel like she was practically shoehorned into the story. And at some point in the book, when Robin tries to get the money for Flash, Robins friends only hear the story from the news, which wasn’t what actually happened.

Not perfect.
