Long waited for and not disappointed
I love Samantha Towles book. This audible version is great.
The narrator really seems to get the feel of the character

A STORY OF SECOND CHANCES AND TRUST
A story of second chances and trust.
Ares Kincaid, star quarterback, he's one of the good guys and not the typical man-whore kind of star player, he loves his family and sisters then there's Arianna Petrelli recovering alcoholic and the coaches daughter.
Ares and Arianna first meet when Arianna who has walked to work in the rain on her first day there goes to the changing room to rid herself of her wet clothes and she is walked in on by Ares.
Ares is instantly attracted by Arianna until he discovers who she is and he is nothing but judgemental of her past, her present and is basically repulsed by the sight of her.
Arianna has made mistakes, she is an alcoholic who is trying to change, she knows she cannot erase her past but with the help of her dad giving her a job at the club is taking one step at a time.
Ares is frosty towards her, he has his own judgements and feelings towards alcoholics due to his father and keeps his distance from Arianna.
This is kind of an enemies to friends romance that eventually becomes more and the more is hot!!
I listened to this in audio and I could't help but swoon each time Ares spoke, he had that laid back type of vibe with the sexy smirk that went along with him.
I loved it, I always love Samantha Towle's books and even though this is based on a sports star you don't have to be a fan of sports to read it, the author has you focusing on the characters, their words and actions rather than the setting.
I can't wait to jump into one of Samantha Towles other books she really is becoming my go to author when I want a good book that I will know for sure will hit all the desired spots in a romance read.
RUSH has steam, angst and drama. Told in first person dual pov and leads to hea.
