About this listen
Three messengers of the gods each hold a piece of my soul. I won’t let them claim my heart, too.
My people are dying. Our god has abandoned us, leaving us starving and weak. In a desperate attempt to save those I love, I offer up the ultimate sacrifice to our capricious deity. Myself.
He accepts my offering, and I forfeit my life. But when I arrive in the afterworld, a rival god who despises me binds my soul to three beautiful, terrifying men - powerful beings he calls his messengers.
Callum, Echo, and Paris.
I’m little more than an annoyance to them, a lost soul their master has foisted upon them. Still, the bond between us draws me toward them constantly, like a lodestone finding true north, and the more time I spend with these enigmatic men, the more confused my feelings become.
I hate them. I want them. I fear them. I need them.
But no matter what happens, I won’t let myself love them.
Please note: Sacrifice is the first book in the Her Soulkeepers series, a medium-burn reverse harem fantasy with steam, action, and romance that will melt your heart and your panties.

Beautiful
This is a hard world for some. There seems like there’s no other way to help those we love. This is a beautiful story of selflessness and love. Excellent narration.

interesting
This storyline is pretty interesting. I like the author and enjoy the worlds she builds. The characters were multi dimensional. The narration was really good. it brought an extra dimension to the novel and helped build the world.

Interesting premise
I liked the premise for this: a soul getting lost in the afterlife after sacrificing herself for her village. But I found the main character really whiny and petulant (especially considering she keeps reminding us how capable she's supposed to be). Love scenes were anatomically impossible, too. In the end I got frustrated and DNF'd, which is a shame as I wanted to like it as I've liked some of the authors' other series

Slow Burn RH
This is my first Saide Moss and I really enjoyed it!! Her characters and plot moved quickly and were in-depth. Kasi did an amazing job narrating. I am looking forward to book 2!!

A bit slow to start
I liked the book overall but you definitely need to give it a few chapters to start and be warned it’s slow burn so if that’s not your thing you might not be a fan. Overall the FMC was awesome and I loved how selfless she was and her internal monologue was great. Hers guys while a bit a**holeish were like able but at the same time with who they are how they act makes sense for the story.

Excellent start
Sage has stood by and watched her people offer sacrifices to Zelus the god they follow and get nothing back from him. They don’t have enough food and crops are failing and people dying so she takes matter into her own hands and sacrifices herself to Zelus. Her sacrifice is pointless as Zelus still doesn’t help her people , she is then found wandering the plain by 3 messengers of a rival god. Kaius hates her because she prays to Zelus and decides she must die. Callum, Echo, and Paris stand up for her and Kaius decides to link a piece of her soul to each of them.
Loved this book and Sage is such a strong defiant women she’s determined her heart won’t go to the 3 men. She decides she needs to go to her family and goes off alone but they follow her and help her heal her brother and in turn causes the wrath of Zelus and starts a war between the 2 rival gods.

Fantasy Reverse Harem Romance
Sacrifice by Sadie Moss is a medium-burn reverse harem fantasy romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Kasi Hollowell. This is the first book in the Her Soulkeepers series.
This is the forth series of Sadie's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. She does an amazing job pulling me into the story. I can't help but binge them in one sitting.
I really enjoyed the relationship that's blooming between Sage, Callum, Echo, and Paris. The book does end on a great cliffhanger and I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series Defiance.
Kasi did a great job on the narration. She really knows how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like reverse harem romances or fantasy romance.

Life and Love After Death
This book was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, with Sage alternately fighting and succumbing to her soul tie to her three messengers, trying not to fall further in love with her men. Sage's actions lead to a battle and consequences that all four must answer for. I enjoyed Sage's realisation that things are not always as they seem, and finding out magic is real! I can't wait for the next book!

Creative
This is unique storyline and world. Not sure if I have fallen for the characters. It's very interesting and I will listen to book 2. The narrator does a good job.
