Summary

It is the greatest bounty hunt in history. Fifteen names. There are 15 targets, the finest warriors in the world - commandos, spies, terrorists. And they must all be dead by 12 noon, today. The price on their heads: almost $20 million each.

Among the names on the target list, one stands out. An enigmatic Marine named Shane Schofield, call-sign: Scarecrow. No limits. And so Schofield is plunged into a headlong race around the world, pursued by a fearsome collection of international bounty hunters - including the "Black Knight", a notoriously ruthless hunter who seems intent on eliminating only Schofield. The race is on and the pace is frantic as Schofield fights for survival, in the process unveiling a vast international conspiracy and the terrible reason why he cannot, under any circumstances, be allowed to live...

He led his men into hell in Ice Station. He protected the president against all odds in Area 7. This time it's different. Because this time Scarecrow is the target.

Another Awesome Schofield Story

As ever, Matthew Reilly delivers another incredibly thrilling story. This was the first Schofield book I read after picking it up in a second hand book sale some years ago.
I'm pleased to say I'd forgotten some of the detail in the intervening years so being able to fully experience it again was a complete joy.

Sadly when I get to the end of these books, I always feel "Well, what am I going to do now?"

Quite a fast moving novel & Bounty Hunters Wow!

This is my 3rd Novel in the series and I am glad to be following them in order. The first two have been quite fast paced novels this one was as fast if not a bit faster. Quite James Bond in its action and some of it do make you wonder how he or she, managed that but its fiction and a story from Matthew Reilly’s amazing imagination and bounty hunters in this type of modern day thriller…amazing. Really enjoyed it and look forward to the next one. BTW Worth listening to the interview at the end of this book with the author interesting indeed, MAKE sure you listen at the end of the novel as it does contain a major spoiler.

Another great romp that never stops

Matthew Reilly Delivers another fast paced gripping tale. The reading is first class and the speed of the novel means there is never a good place to take a break. I have slowed down en route to appointments to make sure I got through a particular bit.

This is a bit darker than the previous 'scarecrow' novels and there are a few nasty surprises in store for the listener. If you have heard the previous stories in this series then stop reading tis review and download this one NOW!!

Good story - Some hard bits.

Good Story, only downside was the "datasheet" sections, in a book would be fine, hard to listen to. had to skip through.
