Summary
'A wonderfully warm and sweet summer read' Karen Clarke
Her summer fling is about to get complicated...
When shoe designer Paige Bingham is jilted she decides to enjoy her honeymoon-for-one in Sorrento. What she doesn't expect is to meet a mysterious entrepreneur, Sebastian Fielding, when she gets there. He helps ease the sting of rejection as he introduces her to the ancient sites he knows and loves.
Unfortunately, soon after Paige returns to her island home in Jersey, she discovers that not only is Sebastian's company taking over the struggling store where her business is based, but that her concession is probably surplus to his requirements.
How can Paige stop her fledgling business from going under? And what can she do to fight the gossip now that the paparazzi have published their untruths about their romance?
Set sail for the breathtaking island of Jersey in this gorgeous, romantic series. Perfect for fans of Jessica Redland and Phillipa Ashley.

Really annoying
The majority of the book is Paige in a strop with Sebastian, it started off quite interesting in Sorrento but just got worse and worse, I loved book 1 and thought book 2 would be a continuation from that but all new characters and nothing to do with it at all, sorry just not for me, not sure now wether to get the next in series.

Okay
I really enjoyed the first book in this series, so was excited to start this one. Half way through I wanted to bin it off but i’d already spent hours listening so persevered. The book isn’t awful and the characters are likeable but it predicable and I was very bored of Paige constantly going back and forth about being with Seb.

Predictable, frustrating and boring
Story started off well and I enjoyed the description of the Italian holiday and Paige’s encounter with Sebastian but after that it went downhill. I carried on listening waiting for a twist or something interesting to happen but honestly it was just frustrating when she kept rejecting him and I found myself listening out of stubbornness to finish the book. I also found the language used by Olly and the narrative between them to be quite simple and childlike although that may just be the way it was read by the narrator.

Not for me!
Tried to find something good to say about this book but it was difficult. Firstly Paige got over being jilted AMAZINGLY quick😳
Some characters brightened things up occationally but OMG Paige, I would have walked away from
this pathetic, irritating woman after a few meetings. The story was full of nothing, just dragged on and on chapter after chapter with the two main characters arguing. I THINK their problem was solved in the last few minutes of the very last chapter!😴 Would not recommend

Couldn't finish it
The start of the book seemed promising but as the story went on Paige became insufferable. I had to stop reading as the constant back and forth bickering got on my nerves.
