Do yourself a favour!

Bill (and William) Shatner deliver a relaxed, almost fireside, chat about life, the Shatnerverse and everything.

It's humourous, poignant, full of insight and, above all, bursting with the larger than life character of its writer/ reader.

Always a very personal affair you feel like you're having a one on one with an old friend.

Do yourself a favour - sit back, listen and revel in the stories of a life in entertainment ... it's worth your time.

Shatner's favourite subject is... Shatner!

Why does George Takei hate him so much? Even WS doesn't know the answer to that. By the end of this hilarious look at the life of Shatner, you will realise two things: no-one who bursts his own bubble so often can be the awful egomaniac he is sometimes painted. 2) Life with Bill is a roller coaster, great fun, and never ever boring.

Just occasionally spoiled by Bill reading so fast! But you'd want no-one else to read it.

Shatner DEFINITELY Rules!

I love Bill Shatner, he's a charming character, an interesting actor and he really gives back to his fans, and this book gives an insight into the persona he uses for Shatner fans, including a lot of history of Bill's life

Having met some of the Star Trek cast at various times, some are just boring in person, although they're interesting actors, but Shatner has a way of dealing with people that makes you just smile, he really is a great persona, and someone you want to go out of your way to meet, just for the memory you will take away from it

This book made me smile so much, and makes me want to use some of Shatner's rules for myself, because they can only make your life more interesting and fun

Well worth the listen, if you know anything about Shatner's work, then this is the book for you!

Unique, strange, and worthy of wonder.

Would you consider the audio edition of Shatner Rules to be better than the print version?

Yes. 100%. The voice of Shatner rules.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Shatner Rules?

The foreign language section.

What does William Shatner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

William brings Shatner and he rules!

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

You won't believe he's eighty.

Any additional comments?

This guy has learnt something and he chooses to share. Cool!

Shatnertastc

A great and humorous look into the world of William Shatner. Made even better by the fact that he is narrating himself.

A lost performance opportunity

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Back-ground on a long drive which provided a few laughs.

How could the performance have been better?

n amusing yarn which was sadly 'squeezed' presumably by Mr Shatners schedule forcing a machine-gun delivery rather then his previously... poetic... and unique... phrasing. Shatner is an acting legend; a genius in delivery of the written word - just not in this book (or Seeking Major Tom).

Could you see Shatner Rules being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?

No-no-no-no-no!

Absolutely hilarious!

A really excellent listen for Shatner fans. Excellent reading, madness in delivery and some moments will have you crying with laughter, some will have you cringing. Enjoyed every minute - several times.
