About this listen

Poltergeists, Egyptian myths, and a series of murders make 1898 a year Sherlock Holmes will never forget. From Camden Town to the diamond district, no part of London is safe. It will take all of his skills if Holmes is to keep himself, Doctor Watson, and their friends free from harm. He doesn't need any distractions. What a time for Lady Beatrice to be trapped in a volatile Paris.

The narrator's mangling of the English language i.e. lilac pronounced lielack and data pronounced daataa was frequently annoying. Sherlock Holmes displayed no more intelligence than the average New York cop and none of the brilliant deducement displayed by Holmes in the Conan Doyle stories.

Disappointed

The editing of this audiobook is unfinished. There are numerous times the narrator repeats himself and at least three occasions where he claps his hands to indicate to the director that an edit is needed. This combined with weird pacing at times makes the story hard to assess.

OK story marred by poor editing
