About this listen
The third novel in six-time New York Times best-selling author Lois H. Gresh’s Sherlock Holmes vs. Cthulhu series.
The obliterating shadow...
The deadly dimensions over London have been sealed, and the monsters have departed. But word has come to Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson of a more terrifying creature still - the great Cthulhu has been sighted off the waters of Innsmouth, Massachusetts. Only Holmes can defeat him.
And in the muddy village of Innsmouth, surrounded by villagers who are more sea-monster than human, Holmes meets again his nemesis, Moriarty, and yet greater foes: Amelia Scarcliffe and Maria Fitzgerald, harbingers of Dagon, who have called forth Cthulhu. Their task: to bring about the end of humankind, and begin the realm of nightmares on Earth.

Ok but meandering
Don’t write a lot of reviews and I appreciate that any author must pour over their work for hundreds of hours. This just goes on and on without much sense of mystery. Unfortunately although I stuck it through to the end I tuned out a bit. A shame as the previous book in the series was quite good. Cheeky use of Holmes and Watson really. Peace and love to everyone nevertheless.

A nice imitation
This book is a good imitation but doesn't hold a candle to the real thing.

Supernatural Sherlock
These stories are not traditional Sherlock Holmes but more supernatural maybe not for everyone but I like that type of adventure.

Tedious
Given the exciting ingredients, this was unbelievably tedious. I only managed to last for 7 chapters

Oh dear
This is the stupidest most long winded book I ever had the misfortune to hear, if you can hear it at all over the sound of Conan Doyle spinning in his grave.
