Anything written and narrrated by Emma Kennedy is always good but in this case the story from about half way through became very predictable.

I laughed and cried in equal measure. The story takes you through a roller coaster of a ride. The narration is outstandjng and makes the story even mord powerful. I cannot recommend this book too highly. It is a must listen to.

A heartwarming read, kept me gripped to the end. I felt as if I knew each character personally. Beautifully read

Couldn’t put it down

I didn’t think I would finish the book as I struggled with the dynamics of the narration. The intonation and accent was great but the variable sound levels meant I was altering the volume, I soon got used to the shouting then the very quiet section. I’m glad I persevered as I thoroughly enjoyed it and wanted to take Anthony home and get him some shoes and new shorts.
